Fulfilling that ministry pt1

So i started my writing by just writing a few words in form of a picture. I however thought that in order to pass the accurate message i intend to, sometimes i will just have to break it down. We know how some things can have more than one meaning. So for today, we will be looking into:

Fulfilling The Ministry Into Which You Have Been Called

Lets see what Colossians 3:17 says;

Colossians 3:17

So this passage is simply trying to say that we have been called into our peculiar ministries based on our talents and the gift(s) of the Holy-Spirit which God has given us, as His children. We therefore have to strive to ensure that we fully carry out the ministry(s) to which we have been assigned effectively and efficiently. The church of God is one body in Christ. However, just as mrebimusic once rightly clarified, the same way the human body is made up of many parts, so also the body of christ which is the church is also made up of many parts. These parts are constituted by you and I; and also every child of God all over the world. Also as mrebimusic once said, the word 'church' does not mean the physical building; at all! Instead it means the people of God who make up the Church. So where am i going with all these (i know story is already becoming too much hehe😃).

So my point here is that just like in the human body for the whole system to function well, all the parts have to do their own work. If one part fails, then the whole system will either collapse, malfunction or become weak. It is therefore very important as a member of the body of Christ to carry out your own function to book so that the body of Christ will remain strong.

However, it is important to note that just like a place in the bible says, (i do not remember exactly where; you can add it in your comment if u do), if you refuse to serve God (in this context, carry out your ministry),you will be replaced. Im sure no one wants to be replaced. May we not be replaced in Jesus' name; Amen! 

So we have to ensure that we utilise ever talent, and every gift of the Spirit whuch God has deposited in us for the ultimate purpose in the kingdom of God which is to win souls to Christ. We are not allowed to serve in part, but fully; wholly surrendering yourself to the service of Christ. It is important to note thay; just as in the story of the talents; that it is only to a productive child that God will give more gifts. You cannot expect to grow when you refuse to work or utilise your talents and gifts. How will you expect God to give you the additional gift or talent you are praying for when you have refused to utilise the one (s) he has given u already?
